The Girl of My Dreams – Review

Review: The Girl of My Dreams, by  Durjoy Datta Review of The Girl fo my dreams by Durjoy Datta Author:  Durjoy Datta Price:  Rs. 199 /- Pages:  288 Genre:  Thriller I have first read “If it’s not Forever, then It’s not Love” by Durjoy Datta and loved his books from then on. However, The Girl of my Dreams is a genre change for Durjoy Datta. The book is a Thriller with love and obsession as the central theme. The book is about the Protagonist, Daman who is facing challenges in life after surviving a deadly car accident. His girlfriend, Shreyasi, was with him in the car and he feels that because he was driving that day and he is guilty of her death. Daman meets his new girlfriend, Avni who doesn’t like Daman mentioning Shreyasi, his virtual girlfriend in his writings. Even after Avni’s repeated appeal to him to name her instead of Shreyasi, he keeps using his virtual girlfriend’s name. The plot becomes chaotic when Shreyasi comes back to life, the plot becomes

As with the Italian bestseller, the talented friend is the tortured one – prematurely sexual, rebellious at school, ungoverned at home – while the less gifted is an able student, determined to make it out of the neighborhood. It gives little away to say that she does, becoming an assistant to a pop star called Aimee. It is by Aimee’s side that she travels the world, jetting from winters to summers. For its plot alone,  Swing Time  makes for truly marvelous reading. The narrato

Paulo Coelho’s inspirational content is the reason for the popularity of his books. In this book, he has a very different style of writing.  The story is about Linda, who is a journalist in her thirties, with a husband and two children. She is quite content with her married life. She loves her family but discovers that there is something missing in her life and killing her inside. She craves for some excitement. As a result, she falls in love with her school boyfriend which results in an explicit relationship. Out of her depression, she even meets a drug dealer and thinks he is a person who she could talk to. Linda feels ashamed for whatever she had done and understands the true meaning of life and love. She abando
