Amit hides behind the fridge, with all lights turned off. He breathes lightly so that his breath can’t be felt. Amit’s heart rate increases as footsteps sound become louder, he tries to control his fear and anxiety and is ready to run away from the room when there is a slight chance ahead of him. Suddenly, power is back up, hence lights are turned on. Amit sweats more as his chances of getting alive now are very less, he tries to squeeze himself even more without making any noise, so that even his shadow isn’t to be seen. The murderer searches the room, cupboards, and the balcony and finds nothing. The murderer doesn’t give up the search as she is sure that Amit is still in the house. Secretly Yours, he has a very simple style of writing and has filled his narrative with twists that make for a good potboiler. It is a romantic thriller with supernatural elements, that added the whole thrill of reading the book in a go. The story revolves around the seventeen-year-old boy Sahil who falls in love with a mysterious girl called Anya. The story goes much beyond this and talks about suspicious multiple murders.
