However, The Girl of my Dreams is a genre change for Durjoy Datta. The book is a Thriller with love and obsession as the central theme. The book is about the Protagonist, Daman who is facing challenges in life after surviving a deadly car accident. His girlfriend, Shreyasi, was with him in the car and he feels that because he was driving that day and he is guilty of her death.
